About Chris
Hi, Lloyd here again. Yep, this is that Chris Pope guy. You can see what I mean about him. But seeing as he created me I guess I'd better tell you a little bit about the dude. You can usually find Chris in North Wales, this being mainly because he lives in the damn wet and windy place. His pastimes, apart from writing and trying to figure out how his smartphone works, include reading a whole heap of books about military history, lots of stuff about tanks and aircraft and naval warfare. His hero is some guy called Nelson who was all about giving the French a good kicking in olden times. Chris is also pretty passionate about a dude called J.R.R.Tolkien, who apparently wrote some long book or other. Watches the movie versions too, repeatedly and for hours on end. Like I said, this guy Is a bit weird. I mean, he likes steam trains too, has hundreds of photos of them and tends to get all dewy-eyed recalling his exploits chasing the smoky beasts across Europe in the 1970's. Nope, I got it wrong. This guy isn't just a bit weird, he's a LOT weird.
But if he's not in North Wales then Chris is probably either enjoying a cool bottle of Mythos beer somewhere in Greece or exploring sunny California with wife Lynda and daughter Cassie.
..or he might just have popped to the shops.
